Nocturna explores the interaction of artificial and natural light in the night landscape. I visited locations that, during the day, hold personal fond memories but at night are unknown and sometimes unrecognisable. With my use of long exposures, I captured existing light and that which the eye cannot see, as well as light I addded myself or was produced by nearby commuters. Through my documentation of light, I have revealed an unfamiliar landscape and created an alternative atmosphere.
